What is Terra?
Terra is Latin for the Earth. Also, "Terra firma" means firm earth. Why use "Terra?" It sounds cooler than earth.
What are Terrans?
Terrans are those who are from Terra (Earth).
Just think of yourself as somebody visiting Terra (Earth) from outer space, you might consider any life form (animal, plant) as Terran. One thing that all of us can say about ourselves is that we are Terran (or earthlings if you prefer). No matter what other grouping we are considered, it is true ... all of us are Terrans.
You might want to also consider other animals as Terrans. Humans may be the most advanced (of Terran animals), but, with our still having wars, fights, and focusing on differences like skin color, origin, sexual whatever, our societies are not advanced..
[OPINION] We should protect and take care of those who have less than we do ... as individuals and as a society, and that includes other Terran animals. Kinda like we are supposed to do for our family and kids. And how many already do with cats, dogs, birds, or others that we call pets or family.
The more Terrans are satisfied with their lives, with low anxiety, the safer and more productive for society for all. Think about it.
What are Terran Humans (us!)
[FACT] Humans are animals. More specifically we are Terrans > Animals > Mammals > Primates > Humans (homo sapians). Please correct me if I miss-stated. Human is our species, and if you haven't seen other people different from you ... newsflash we all are different.
[THEORY] There are not different "races" of humans. There are different breeds of humans, just like with dogs, cats, horses, turtles, etc. All animals seem to have breeds. That doesn't mean one breed is better than another, it possibly means that different breeds were created or naturally evolved for different purposes. They may have different talents, complimentary talents. So instead of fighting each other lets work united to solve the challenges that we face that affect us locally and worldwide.
Just like with other animals (that are supposedly less intelligent than humans), different breeds of humans should get along.
What is Terrans United?
TerransUnited.org is about uniting Terrans as much as possible.
We are all Terrans on this planet (Earth a.k.a. Terra). What happens in other parts of the world affects all of us.
TerransUnited.org is about people having what is possibly a new way of thinking ... inclusive instead of exclusive of others sharing this planet. Also, working on uniting Terrans to face local and worldwide challenges.
Challenges like Global Climate Change, Pandemics, Space Exploration and more
We have differences, but have common causes and we need to evolve.
Though we (Human Terrans) have come a long way in many areas we haven't really moved forward much in social areas like society (still rich and poor, people pitted agains other people, wars, government that hurts it's own people).
Having a majority of people happy or satisfied with their lives should be a goal.
We do need to evolve our world (people on Terra). The question is how? And we need help figuring this out. Want to help?
